The Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) is the National Tourist Organisation of Cyprus, responsible for the planning, organising, marketing and promotion of the island’s tourist product, as well as the regulation of the function of tourist enterprises. The Organisation has 22 offices in 19 countries in Europe, Middle East and the US.

Golf Tourism is a priority special interest product of the Cyprus Strategic Tourism Plan. The Government’s Golf Policy encourages the development of up to 14 golf courses on the island. With a cluster of existing golf courses –Aphrodite Hills, Elea, Minthis Hills and Secret Valley- situated in tranquil surroundings, amid gently sloping hills offering panoramic views towards the Mediterranean Sea, and new signature golf projects in the pipeline, Cyprus is an emerging golfer’s paradise, a place where one can enjoy the game all the year round in an ideal mediterranean climate.

The Cyprus Tourism Organisation participates in major travel markets and golf fairs and organises familiarisation visits to the island for golf journalists and tour operators. It also sponsors Golf PR Events and golf tournaments, organised in Cyprus and abroad. Cyprus hosted the PGA EuroPro Tour Final Championship 2010.
